I created these hessonite garnet earrings with natural burnt red garnets that dangle from sterling silver earwires. The faceted stones are a deep reddish brown, similar to a good dark port. The smaller 4mm stones have some colour variation and very subtle patterns. I wire wrapped the garnets so that they move when worn. I designed the hammered sterling silver earrings specifically for these stones to create a contemporary and lean profile from different angles.

The design works equally well with hair worn up or down and will be distinct with most styles. Since garnets are the birthstone for January, these would be a modern gift for someone with a special day in January.

These earrings are 1 5/8" (42mm) long and will be shipped in a splurge gift tin. Only one pair is available.
